This week the US Department of Defense released the names of 11 military personnel who died, while serving in the United States armed forces.

A grateful nation honors your service. Your battle is over; rest in peace. Your courage, for our country, will forever be etched in our minds and hearts.

Welcome all new viewers. These weekly episodes pay tribute to brave men and women who served our country with honor. With the passing of the man, regarded as the father of the Aegis Weapons System, this week, I’ve included a special tribute to an American legend, Retired Navy Rear Adm. Wayne E. Meyer.
