Feb. 22, 2010 Arlington National Cemetery. The late US Army Colonel Robert “Bob” Howard was laid to rest with full military honors. The ceremonies were conducted by the 3d US Infantry Regiment, (The Old Guard) accompanied by the US Army Band, Pershing Own and 12 Medal of Honor recipients as honorary pall-bearers.

Week ending Feb. 13, 2010 the US Department of Defense released the names of 2 military personnel who died, while serving in the United States armed forces. US DoD, Secretary Gates, commented on the passing of 2 notable veterans.

Week ending Jan. 30, 2010 the US Department of Defense released the names of 7 active military personnel who died, while serving in the United States armed forces. The DoD also announced the return of one MIA from the Vietnam War.
