Medal of Honor awarded posthumously to USAF Chief Master Sgt. Richard L. Etchberger

CMS Richard Etchberger, Medal of Honor Receipent
Sept. 21, 2010 Washington DC. Of all the military decorations that our nation can bestow, the highest is the Medal of Honor. It is awarded for conspicuous gallantry; for risking one’s life in action; for serving above and beyond the call of duty. Today, President Obama, Commander in Chief, presented the Medal of Honor to an American who displayed such gallantry more than four decades ago —- Chief Master Sergeant Richard L. Etchberger.
His three surviving sons Richard, Steve and Cory received the award on their father’s behalf.
This video is of the entire ceremony held in the East Room at the White House.

1Please re-write the headline, \"Medal of Honor awarded postumously to USAF Chief Master Sgt. Richard L. Etchberger\". I have not read the narration of the medal, but I am speculating that some other Americans or allies passed away during that same time.
An award is something that you achieve or you compete. A list of words that could be used in the new headline, \"receives\" or \"presented\".
I was blessed to hear CMH recipient Maj (Ret) Drew Dix speak. He was introduced to the audience as \"CMH award winnner\". He then spoke about how its not an award and he is not a winner.
Thank you
