Dallas, TX Jan. 20, 2011 at DFW, a charted flight from Dover, DE, landed at approximately 10:15 with the remains of SSGT. Omar Aceves. The winds were brisk and temperature was in the low 30′s and falling. The light rain and fog just added to the miserable weather.

SSGT Omar Aceves, 30, KIA, Jan. 17, 2011 is returning home to N. Texas’ DFW Airport on Thursday morning. Staff Sergeant Omar Aceves is survived by his wife, 6 children, his mother and father, and two brothers and two sisters.
Maj. Richard D. Winters a WWII Hero died at 92
Major Richard “Dick” D. Winters died January 2, 2011, he was a United States Army officer and decorated war veteran. His life was recounted in the best-selling book and HBO mini-series “Band of Brothers,” . He commanded Company “E”, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, during World War II.
Body of US Military Expert found in DE landfill
John P. Wheeler III, 66, was found dead in a Delaware landfill, and his death has been ruled a homicide by Newark, Del., police. They are asking the public for leads in the case.
