SSG Shawn H. McNabb a life remembered and honored
Last October, we as a country, were suffering from many losses due to war. On Oct. 26, last year I woke up to learn a helicopter crashed in Iraq and claimed the lives of 7 Army soldiers. One of those soldiers was SSG Shawn Henry McNabb, 24, of Terrell, TX.
SSG Carlos A. Benitez (KIA) – Memorial Tribute Oct. 2010
On Oct. 14, 2010 3 soldiers were killed after being attacked by insurgents in Afghanistan including SSG Carlos Benitez. With a wife and two children living in Colorado and a mother with two siblings living in Dallas, the arrangements for SSG Carlos Benitez’s return were chaotic.

August 30, 2010, members of the Patriot Guard Riders from Oklahoma and North Texas began to arrive at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, to the somber tolling of the Texas Liberty Bell.
